Education Scholarships/Sponsors Needed

The Cranberry Area Chamber of Commerce will be awarding six $1,000 scholarships. There will be three scholarships for traditional students, two scholarships for vocational students, and one scholarship to non-tradtional/returning adult students. To be eligible, you must be a high school senior or adult who attends or resides in the Mars Area or Seneca Valley School Districts, a member of the Cranberry Area Chamber of Commerce, or immediate family of a Cranberry Area Chamber member. This year’s topic is, "What experiences have led you to choose your educational field and career goals?" Scholarship applications may be picked up at the school guidance offices, the Chamber Office, or the Cranberry Library. Essays must be received by 4:00 PM, Friday, March 16, 2007.
